The Texas Neurofibromatosis Foundation® has hosted Dining Out in Dallas for over 25 years!  The event has a great following among Dallasites that enjoy fine dining, wines, shopping, and travel.

Your participation will make an important difference in the lives of patients with Neurofibromatosis (NF) and their families and will enable the Foundation to continue its mission to raise awareness, support research, and provide patient services. Although most people have never heard of NF, it is much more prevalent than the public realizes, occurring in one of 3,000 births. NF causes the uncontrolled growth of tumors along the nerves and can form anywhere inside or outside the body. Symptoms range from benign nodules on the body to blindness, deafness, severe disfigurement, brain tumors, cancer, and even death. Currently, there is little treatment with no cure or any prevention of NF. Dining Out in Dallas, has been the signature fundraising event for the Foundation and has raised over $2.5 million dollars for patient outreach programs and research. Texas NF partners with the NF clinics at MD Anderson Cancer Center, Texas Children’s Hospital, Children’s Health Dallas, and Cook Children’s Hospital in Fort Worth by providing a Clinic Liaison to assist the medical staff and offer additional resources to patients and families.

Thank you for your consideration and we hope you can help us with this special cause. For more information about the event and the Foundation, please visit our website at www.texasnf.org or contact the Texas NF office at 972-739-6086.
